GTM Product Marketing Manager

About The Position

In this role you will:

  • Use customer and competitive research to influence product strategy and drive effective messaging
  •  Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate Pliops solutions in the marketplace
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing campaigns and GTM process 
  • Craft engaging audience-specific marketing content, including case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, and sales playbooks
  • Define market segmentation and develop the right marketing strategy that maps to target buyer, business problems, and IT/ Engineering initiatives 
  • Create content and sales tools to accelerate conversion rates at each stage of the sales funnel
  • Define and execute sales enablement strategy for sales/ business development, field, solution architect, and partner facing roles; develop and deliver sales enablement content 
  • Gather intelligence on key competitors and draft differentiation materials for the field and external consumption
  • Develop and implement analyst engagement strategy and drive industry analyst briefings
  • Help to shape and execute PR strategy in collaboration with agency/ consultants
  • Support the team in setting clear goals and key results, ensure that those are communicated and visible across the organization


  • In depth knowledge of Storage Technologies, Flash Storage, and SSDs
  • Cloud and enterprise business applications such as SQL/ no-SQL databases or Analytics applications would be very helpful in this role
  • Experience building and executing marketing plans, and staying focused on “getting it done”
  • High-energy – enjoys fast-moving startup environment 
  • Demonstrated experience building credibility with and delivering results for product teams, sales teams, and customers
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive communication
  • Ability to use data to measure results and inform decision-making and strategy development
  • Power Point, Adobe Suite, and advanced Excel (HubSpot or other marketing automation tools a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, or engineering

This position will be initially remote – however, our offices are located in San Jose, CA future on-site meetings should be expected. Local candidates preferred.
